Mrs. Cherise Strickland officially announced the proclamation of Farm-City Week in Douglas County, set to take place from November 20th to November 28th. Last spring, Mrs. Strickland received the prestigious Educational Agricultural Award in recognition of her efforts in promoting agricultural awareness. The proclamation, part of the Georgia Farm Bureau’s initiative, aims to honor and celebrate the vital contributions of farmers, truck drivers, and all agricultural workers who support our communities and economy.
