Hello My Name Is...
Avery Zachery
My name is Avery Zachery and I am ecstatic about joining the Winston Wildcat family. I am a Douglas County native, where I attended Winston Elementary, Stewart Middle School, and Douglas County High School. I am so pleased to be returning home and giving back to the community that gave to me. This year I will be teaching mathematics, science and social studies.
I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters degree in Reading, Language and Literacy. I have an ESOL and Mathematics endorsement as well. For the last eight years I have taught fourth and fifth grade at Lithia Springs Elementary School.
My true passions are helping others, teaching, reading and traveling. I have two children, a son Nathan, who is in fifth grade and loves baseball and a daughter, Amari, who is in second grade and loves gymnastics.
